Good afternoon folks, and welcome to our website. I just wanted to let everyone know we are trying to open up a little at a time. We are now offering tours Saturday and Sunday. Starting this weekend. If you have ever wondered how we make our wine or even how we grow our vines, come on out and let us walk you in and around our winery and vineyard. Sorry folks we aren’t able to offer food with these tours at this time. But we hope to start a food truck out here in the near future. We are still social distancing so masks must be worn at all times. And only 10 people in a group at a time followed by your tasting. We look forward to having you visit us.
Welcome to our beautiful winery and vineyard. We are so happy to have you.
We have one of the very few properties in Florida that actually grow grapes in our vineyard and make wine in our winery. We have a 10-acre estate with 7.5 acres of vines and six different varieties of Muscadine grapes. But our wines are not just made with muscadine grapes, we also partner with wineries in California, Washington and Oregon to bring in their wines or juice to blend with ours.
Muscadine is a grapevine species native to the southeastern and southcentral United States. There are over 400 varieties of muscadine grapes. The grapes are the highest in antioxidants than any other fruit. They are also fat-free, high in fiber, low in sodium and an excellent source of manganese which helps with protein and amino acid digestion and utilization as well as the metabolism of cholesterol and carbohydrates. Also ensuring proper liver functions. So drink up people. It’s good for you.
I would like to start out by saying ”Thank You” to all of our customers for going through this with us and considering us essential. As some of you know, we had to change a few things here at our vineyard. We are still open and offering free tastings, but because of the Covid 19 virus we can not allow you to consume the wine you have purchased on our property. You are welcome to take a self guided tour around the vineyard, sit a spell and listen to the birds. Just keep in mind folks we are socially distancing and please don’t forget, we all must wear a mask. We care about your safety. Please care about ours. We will get through this if we all work together, care for each other and be smart.
Hello, all. The Florida State Department of Business and Professional Regulation has issued Amended Emergency Order 2020-09. This states (I’m paraphrasing, here) that Vendors licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, but are not licensed restaurants, shall suspend sales of alcoholic beverage for consumption on the premises. What this means for us, is that, until further notice, we cannot sell wine for consumption in our vineyard or pavilion. Please note that we will certainly be open for wine sales for consumption off premises, and you are always free to come and walk about our beautiful vineyard!
That’s right folks!
We are partnering with The Eat Shack (aka) Gigi’s Place, to offer Lunch in the Vineyards. If you would like to have lunch or dinner in our beautiful Vineyard, just ring us up and tells us which meal you would like. But remember, we only have lunch on the weekends. Saturday and Sunday’s. Gigi makes a delicious Baked Lasagna with meatballs and a Baked Zucchini Lasagna for our Vegetarian and Gluten Free people. We have a wonderful red wine that Is complementary and complements this meal perfectly. You must call us the day before so we can have it ready for you when you come out. The dinner serves six people. So there is plenty to take home as leftovers.
Hi everyone, I hope this update on our website finds everyone well and in good spirits. Given the current circumstances, we are going to have to postpone the Murder Mystery Dinner currently scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, 2020. What we are going to do is, when we get closer to the end of this thing, we will schedule three dates and you will be able to pick whichever one you want to attend. If none of those dates works for you, then you can always hold off until the fall season if you want. We’re going to be very flexible, we know everyone’s schedule is in flux these days.
We hope this will work for you, and look forward to seeing you out in the vineyard! In the meantime, stay inside and wash your hands!!
Dear Valued Guests,
We here at the winery are closely monitoring developments around the spread of the Corona virus (COVID-19).
We are in the business of serving people, and in the midst of this Corona virus outbreak it’s important that we give you as much information as possible about the procedures we follow, to clean and operate our properties, and maintain a sanitary environment.
Foremost on our minds is the safety of our employees and our customers, which is why we have taken, among other things, the following preventive measures:
frequently sanitizing surfaces;
reinforcing appropriate hygiene amongst our staff;
following all guidelines recommended by the Manatee County Dept. of Public Safety, the CDC, and the Florida Dept. of Health;
doing all we can to keep our employees abreast of COVID-19 developments.
The Bradenton Area Convention & Visitors Bureau has informed us that, according to both the CDC and the Florida Dept of Health, at present time – for the vast majority of people – the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 remains low, and the Bradenton Area is considered a safe place to travel to.
Unique in this area, our spacious 10 acre vineyard property allows for the individualized spacing of guests and therefore, as of this time, we have made the decision to remain open for tastings and tours. We are closely monitoring all other similar social meeting industries, facilities and places such as malls, theaters, parks, beaches, shopping centers, wholesale warehouse clubs, grocery stores and department stores, etc. and are prepared to quickly follow suit in the event the government requests that all such facilities close down.
The bottom line is that we remain acutely vigilant about this serious crisis. We will continue to do everything we can to protect our employees and our customers, and to remain ready to serve our customers in the most appropriate fashion.
It’s here! It’s finally here! Siesta Sands Our newest addition to our wine selections. A beautiful French oak Chardonnay blended to perfection using our wonderful wines grown right here on our estate. Come on out and taste this wonderful wine. Coming soon Sunrise, a blend of Grenache and Carlos. If you have never experienced a Grenache wine, come on out and taste. It is similarly to a Riesling with all those intense aromas and spicy notes.
